A Few Websites that I've Created
Some of the Commercial Websites that I've created and maintain. My notes and comments about websites in general appear below.

www.northwestWAnewhomes.com

Website for a development of new homes in Mount Vernon, Washington. Includes a very compact Flash animation on the Home page, and description of the features, layout and floor splans of the homes.

This is a very pretty website!

www.BergePools.com

Bryn Berge's work is amazing. Serving Orange County, CA for over 33 years, Berge Pools is the premier builder of custom pools and spas for multi-million-dollar homes in Newport Beach and surrounding areas.

Bryn's client list reads like the Fortune 500. It's worth checking this website just to see what can be done with a backyard pool!

www.voyageairguitar.com

The future of guitar travel. Voyage-air's patented 'folding guitar' technology means that a full-size guitar can fold in half for travel. Carry-on luggage for commercial airlines!

And we're talking top-quality guitars here. The kind you can play on stage, or in the studio.

www.FrettedFriends.com

Fine Fretted Friends specializes in fine guitars, and has served Livermore, CA for over 10 years. I created their web site in 1998, and have been maintaining that site since day one.

Today, this website accounts for nearly 50% of their retail sales - both through Internet exposure, and direct Internet sales of musical instruments.

www.yamamotoguitar.com

Tony Yamamoto ranks among the best guitar builders in the world. His guitars have been used in concert by some of the finest musicians of our time.

I created Tony's website, and created all of the branding and marketing for his various models.

I'm very proud to be associated with Tony Yamamoto.

Website Notes and Comments

Today, website presence defines companies, as well as their products and services. Over 70% of residences in the United States have computers at home with Internet access. By year-end 2007, over 55% will have high-speed Internet access, and will rely on Internet information for buying decisions related to products and services.

A good website creates a clear world-wide message about who you are, and what you do.

Even better: a website created by a professional will generate business for you. It's a carefully-crafted combination of your advertising, marketing statement, product or service details, and Internet presence that proves you're very serious about your business.

It proves that you're eager to provide information, and that you want to help a potential customer.

I'm here to help you deliver that message.

Based on years of experience, I have very specific ideas about what makes up a good website:

A good website has a clean graphic design, and uses colors and elements that are comfortable to view. No 'flashing' text.

There is a common theme to the colors and graphics. That theme should relate to the product or service.

A good website has easy navigation. Any user should be able to find everything on the website without prompts, help or a sitemap.
